It’s Time to Play Ball, La Cañada Flintridge!

Celebrate the Start of the 2025 Season with LCBSA! Join the La Cañada Baseball Softball Association (LCBSA) as we kick off our 2025 season with a fun-filled Opening Day celebration on Friday, February 21, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the beautiful Oakgrove softball fields, right next to La Cañada High School.
This exciting event is open to all members of the La Cañada Flintridge community. We invite every LCBSA player to come out and participate, as all teams from every division will be introduced. Our youngest athletes in the Foal, Shetland and Pixie divisions will have the special opportunity to take a lap around the bases—so make sure to cheer them on!
The evening will wrap up with a friendly, spirited softball game featuring representatives from our 12-year-old boys Bronco division and the 14-year-old girls Super-Senior division.
We’ll also be celebrating the incredible achievements of our Tournament Teams from this past summer, with LA County Fire Chief Pat Sprengel on hand to throw out the season’s first pitch. Plus, we’re introducing a new and exciting Cooperstown Team Fundraiser, complete with a radar gun competition to see which players from various age groups can throw the fastest pitch!
Don’t forget to bring your appetite—there will be delicious food and drinks available for purchase, including fresh grilled hot dogs and burgers, pizza from Flintridge Pizza Kitchen, and irresistible desserts from Bruster’s Ice Cream.
